Program purpose
Give coaches, assistants, parents and volunteers practical exposure to CPR, AED use and common youth sports emergencies.

- Recognizing cardiac arrest
- Calling 911 and activating the emergency plan
- Hands-on CPR practice
- Using an AED and following prompts
- Choking and common sports-emergency awareness

Coaches may review the American Heart Association's youth sports and community training resources while the local program is being developed.
