Why did you choose to go into the medical field?
My mother worked for 4 surgeons when I was growing up. I loved science, biology and math.
What is your favorite part of practicing medicine?
The patients. I love talking to patients and making them feel better.
What is your least favorite part of what you do?
Hours away from my family.
What do your clients say about you?
That I have excellent bedside manner, that I’m funny and I look like Bradley Cooper and that I listen to them.
What interests you most about working with SLMA?
The ability to do work at different hospitals in the area. I enjoy working with good partners including Dr. Garcia.
Who inspires you?
My wife – she is a great mother to our 3 kids (all under 2 years old!)
What are you most passionate about professionally?
Making patients comfortable and pain free.
What most excites you about your work and the contribution you can make?
I think with my partners, we can really make a difference in the way general surgery patients are taken care of.
What are you passionate about personally?
I am passionate about The Saints, LSU, my children and family.
What is your favorite pastime outside of work?
I enjoy tailgating, cooking and going to sporting events.
Anything else you’d like to tell people about yourself?
I know more song lyrics than most!
